Molly's Peck

Molly’s Peck is a Soul/Pop band formed in Valencia, Spain, in 2016.
It consists of Julia Selbherr, singer and violinist from Lörrach, Germany, and Guilherme Castelhano, guitarist from Saõ Paulo, Brazil.
They met in 2014 at Los Angeles College of Music in Pasadena, CA, where they both graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in Vocal/Guitar Performance in March 2015.
While living there, they played with different artists in several venues in Los Angeles and started writing their own music.
In 2016 they moved to Spain and started gigging around Valencia weekly while continuing their studies at Berklee College of Music.
With session players they work on their own songs and will start to record an EP in January 2017.
Molly’s Peck believes strongly in their compositions that combine Julia’s singing with her violin playing, plus Guilherme’s expressive guitar solos.
The goal is to combine their skills with influences such as Aretha Franklin, Derek Trucks & Gregory Porter, to deliver original performance and compositions to the audience.
With their ambition and commitment to succeed as a long-term project, they plan a tour in Summer 2017 through Europe and South America.
